Although most commercial companies have no code of ethics, or in other words corporate responsibility, they are led by the laws of the State and international quality standard that provide the foundations for good ethical involvement.
Thus is an external enforcement; the companies don’t enforce ethical behavior by recognizing the need; it is forced by external legislation. Strategic change requires changing the approach of an organization to ethical behavior especially towards employees because they are the most important asset of most producing companies and especially of service providing companies, by addressing the ethics of “employment relations”. Creating and assimilating the “employment relations” ethics, should be relatively easy, although according to the literature, is expected this process would last several years. The success of the embedding “employment relations” corporate responsibility opens the company’s way for creation and implementation of ethical codes in other variables to enhance organizational identity , to have pride in the organization and will generate positive positions toward change, better employee’s motivation and employee’s satisfaction.
It is recommended to manage the ethical code process by a structured system and determined and clear frameworks and schedules.
It is recommended to distribute a written communication, meetings, workshops, and case studies of the event that happened to other organizations by practicing continuous organizational learning and sharing information. The process should be ready to amend if necessary, the ethical code, depending on the needs of the stake holders.
It is recommended to assign the General Manager or other executive as the leader of this mechanism, because non-success embedding the “employment relations” ethics will stop any further attempts to develop a corporate responsibility code in other practices. Succeeding embedding the “employment relations” ethics will generate other ethical code implementation; it will lead the organization towards its future goals in respect of its future customers and help lead the strategic change
